Harsh working environment and backward communication equipment leaded to accidents in coal mine frequently, so the safety of miners has attracted more and more attention. While increasing the awareness of safety, developing a location system with high accuracy is crucial important for production safety and emergency rescue.The thesis makes a study on miner location system with high accuracy in tunnel environment through combing with the special environment of tunnel and requirements of personnel location system. The thesis contributes following achievements:1. To meet the demand of the location system with high capacity and low power consumption, the thesis researches a new dynamic access method based on high-accuracy ranging scheme. Combining with the demand parameters, the thesis compares the performance of several kinds of dynamic access method through simulation. Then the thesis designs a dynamic access scheme based on reservation scheme. The dynamic access scheme solves the collision problem when multiple location devices access the locating base station.2. According to the environment characteristics of tunnel, the thesis designs a network model for communication within the location base stations. The thesis also designs a wireless communication network for the system based on Zig Bee wireless communication solution. The network topology and dynamic routing scheme greatly enhance the robustness of tunnel communication, so the wireless network realizes the regional coverage for the location system in the tunnel.3. Combing with the system requirements and research contents, the thesis completed the system model machine and performed an experiment in the tunnel. Experimental results verified the research content of this thesis, and our designed system can meet the actual requirements of the high accuracy location system in tunnel.
