Plate is an important variety of iron and steel for supporting the construction of national industrialization, which is also an important material of iron and steel to promote the development of the national economy, whose production level and quality are an important symbol of development level of iron and steel of national industry. With the development of the economy and the market competition becoming fiercer, the users place greater demands on the quality of plate products. Only of plate factory use new process and method to reduce the production cost, shorten the product development cycle, improve product quality as much as possible, Therefore, this paper has developed the off-line simulation software of plate rolling and cooling process after rolling. The simulation software can help the plate manufacturers to do more experiments repeatedly, optimize the production process reasonably, expand the types of products and provide the scientific method and reliable way for the plate production of high yield, high performance and high quality.In this paper, during the developing process of the off-line simulateion software, according to the basic theory and process of plate rolling and cooling after rolling, the force parameters of rolling and temperature lowering process of cooling are analyzed and studied and corresponding mathematical model is established. Among the established mathematical models, the rolling force parametric model is built up on the rolling temperature, the deformation resistance, the average unit pressure and spread model, and the temperature lowering model of cooling after rolling is established through the explicit finite difference method on the base of the transfer of the heat. In addition, this paper also deduces the average deformation speed, the average def- ormation degree and the differential equation of heat conduction, fit the thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity, optimize rolling schedule according to the rolling force and power models and design the direct cooling and subsection cooling methods after rolling to make the mathematical model in this paper more accurate and the simulation software function more abundant.According to the established mathematical model of rolling and cooling process after rolling, by the use of C++ language compiling rolling force parameter model and temperature lowering model, the software kernel computation program is developed; According to the process sequence, data transmission form and results showing method, using VB language to design the controller and the form, the man-machine interface of the software is developed. By running the software to simulate plate rolling and cooling after rolling process in off-line way, the simulation results of rolling force parameters and cooling temperature lowering process were analyzed and compared with the measured results of the workshop to verify the accuracy of the off-line simulation software, which can satisfy the need of actual production.Based on the off-line simulation results of this software for rolling and cooling after rolling process, as the research content, the effects of rolling temperature, rolling speed and deformation degree of rolling process on rolling force parameters have been analyzed and a conclusion is obtained that the rolling force parameter will decrease with the increase of rolling temperature and increase with increase of the rolling velocity and deformation degree; The influence of the thickness of the steel plate, the running speed and cooling water flow In the cooling process on the cooling effect after rolling have been analyzed and a conclusion is made that the Final cooling temperature after rolling will increase with the increase of the thickness of the steel plate and running speed and Decreases with the increase of cooling water flow.
