The Analysis Rural Residents Food Consumption And Nutritional Status Of Guizhou Province

Food consumption is a fundamental aspect of the consumption behavior of human beings which directly affects people’s absorption and health. The level of food consumption and the status of nutrition is an important reflection of a national economy and quality of our life. Guizhou is located in the West of China, a agricultural development province. Nature is the rural residents food consumption and nutritional status factor, which has a certain limitations and particularity. Therefore,it’s necessary to carry on special systematic research on this field.First, this paper describes the State Council put forward to China food and nutrition development compendium and analyzes the significance of food and nutrition for us. The Paper reviewed the development courses of Guizhou rural residents’ food consumption and nutrition since reform and opening-up from four respects which are food consumption expenditure, food consumption structure,nutritional condition, health status on the basis of a large number of relevant data. Can be found, the rural residents’ food consumption and nutritional current problems in Guizhou province. The main performance are low socialized intensity, low degree of consumption structure, big gap between urban and rural areas, single source of nutrition basing on plant food, energy and protein in-taking is not up to the nutritional target and so on.The factors impelling the forming of these characteristics were various. This Paper analyzed this problem from such respects as economic factor, policy factor,social factor, other factors, etc. Using stata software to build regression model, using the OLS to analyses the influence factors of income. And then using theeviews software to establish the regression model in order to forecast the development trend of food consumption and nutrition in Guizhou. According to the problem reason,then sum up the conclusion of the research, finding that the nutrition improvement is on the development of one’s own, economic progress and social sustainable development to provide human resource guarantee, and then propose some relative strategic suggestion to develop our economic and build a well-off society.
