In today’s world, more and more attention to energy conservation and environmental protection, the negative influence caused by greenhouse effect becomes more and more serious, the iron and steel enterprises to enter the low-profit era, recycling and energy management is an important issue in iron and steel enterprises need to face.As past the energy management of Xinyu Iron & Steel Co did not realize information sharing. Scheduling balance energy on the basic telephone inquiries, energy adjusted according to experience. Measurement report is the use of paper statements the company with a copy of each department. Information lag caused the energy recovery and balance is more extensive, caused a lot of waste.This paper is based on the production and measurement of Xinyu Iron & Steel Co, the design of energy management system set energy signal acquisition, monitoring, remote control, network transmission, statistics, analysis and prediction for the integration of energy. This paper from the Xinyu Iron & Steel Co production process, energy structure, energy management mode and management requirements are summarized, the design scheme of the actual management needs of Xinyu Iron and steel co. Production runs more smoothly, energy consumption indicators have improved significantly, improve production efficiency, reduce production cost.
