The Pharmaceutical & Chemical factories in Zhejiang Province usually face the problems of serious water pollution. They even couldn't stably meet the discharge standards. According to the recent survey, this thesis emphatically introduces the wastewater production and process flowchart, the design index and facility operation status. It also analyzes the existing problems and put forward some valuable suggestions. Now bio-chemical wastewater treatment technology is widely used in the Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industry. But the facility investment & operation cost are very high. The limitation of the technology & finance also cause the wastewater from dye intermediates factories higher than the relative discharge standard. To the author's view, cleaner production and pollution prevention through the whole production process are valuable countermeasures. This thesis also presents some detailed practical cleaner production technologies with the purpose of improving the pollution control level and obtaining double win of economic & environmental benefits in the Pharmaceutical & Chemical industry in Zhejiang province.
