Due to the different influence of inhalable particulate upon the transmission between visible channel and near infrared channel of NOAA satellite, a deferent vegetation index (DVI) is built. And the relationship between DVI and PM10 observed by the ground environment monitoring station is found. On the basics of quantitative retrieval of pollution, combining with green land distribution, green land statistics and meteorological data, a dynamic monitoring and research has been done to the particle pollution of the central urban in Shanghai by using GIS multifactor integrated analysis, and a satisfying result of application has been reached. After our research the following results have been reached: 1) the distribution of particulate pollutants is closely related to the character of underlaying surface, man-made pollution source and population density. The density of inhalable particulate reduces from central urban to suburb. 2) the distribution of particulate pollutant is corresponding to green land .The high value of pollution appears in the area lacking of green land 3)the particulate pollution arearatio of each district in Shanghai is in relation with green coverage ratio and per capita public green area. 4) the capacity to release dust of green land is closely related to its area. 5) there is a linear relationship between the distance of green land' s effect on particulate pollution and its area.
