This paper choose expansible graphite as attenuation materials to 8 millimeter wave by a analysis of technique postural to 8 millimeter wave and measurement result of static state performance. Instantaneous expansion of expansible graphite is realized by methods of chemical medicament. We succeed in manufacturing of instantaneous expansion agent by a large number of experimentation. Instantaneous expansion agent can make expansible graphite expanded in instantaneous time by exploding. At the same time, the expansion graphite, which dispersing and floating in air uniformity, become interference pyrotechnic smoke by simulation bomb experimentation. The attenuation characteristic of expansible graphite to 8 millimeter wave have been tested in suspending state by newly-built millimeter wave equipment during researching, the relationship of between expansion methods ,granularity, category, content, times rate, concentration of worm-like graphite and attenuation characteristic is discussed in this paper.
