In the implementation of the actual rewinding machine driving control system project, people usually modify the old project control procedure and apply it to new project for meeting the new functional requirements. This requires that the rewinding machine driving control program should have a good portability and reusability. However, in actual engineering practice, rewinding machine program is difficult to reach a efficient reuse, the procedure portability and extendibility is bad. So we usually need to do a lot of changes to the original program be used in different project, and affected the multiplexing efficiency. So the software analysis and application research for rewinding machine’s driving control program is very necessary.This paper mainly do the following several aspects:(1)In this paper, according to the production process and control requirements of rewinding machine, use object-oriented methods, structured methods and the components theory of software engineering to design rewinding machine driving control procedures for improving the portability and reusability of the program. In software engineering, structured method is the most basic, the most widely used method of software designing, object oriented method is superior to the other methods in software reusing, component technology is the core technology of software reusing. Therefore, using these theories, it is expected to improve the portability and reusability of the rewinding machine drive control program.(2)To elaborate control theory and control process of rewinding machine,Build the mechanics model and the mathematical model of rewinder system according to the control theory and technology of the rewinding machine. Paper mainly discusses the rewinding machine pressure roller pressure control model, bottom roller torque difference control model and back paper roller tension control model.(3)The process of program designing is divided into six different stages according to the software life cycle, they are problem definition, requirement analysis, outline designing, detailed designing, coding and testing. In these stages, we need to make detailed function and data analysis, model establishment, algorithm designing and data definitions.(4)In every stage, program designing is accompanied by detailed description, such as text, graphical models and forms. These documents are helpful to improve the accuracy of the coding and the readability of the procedure, and provide favorable information for later expansion and reusing.Finally, analysis the reusing of the procedure,and test a part of program, get the conclusion that the software engineering method can improve the reusability effectively.
