With people's requirement of the return to nature and strengthen of environmental protection consciousness, "Green" health care function textiles is favored by consumers gradually. Bamboo fiber, as a natural polymer, extracted from bamboos is being paid more and more attention, because of its unique structure, bacteriostasis, sorption to strange smell, biodegradable properties etc. Just because of these excellence properties, Bamboo fiber is named Green fiber. The underwear products made of bamboo fiber also only has many excellent property such as antibacteriah odor-preventing properties, comfort of moisture,soft feel and so on. In addition, it is nontoxic to humans and is not pollute to the environment of the earth. So the bamboo fiber textiles accord with the trend of Green health textile's development used by the modern living of the new century. In this paper, we researched the performance of bamboo fiber, the design parameter of the fabric structure, the process of the fabric bleaching, dyeing, enzyme treatment and finishing. Moreover the properties of the fabric's comfort and durableness also was research.We all know the molecule structure and the chemistry of the fibers have directly effect on the fiber processing and its fabric properties. So we analyses the bamboo fibers' pHysics and chemistry properties firstly. On the base of this research, we did product development on the loop wheel frame and the circle knitting machine, according to the raw materials, the using of the product and the request of the factory. We developed four kind of knitting fabric totally: single fabrics, double fabrics, figure fabrics ,openwork fabrics ,With the designing and knitting again and again, we get hold of the scientific parameter.In the processing of the bleaching and dying, we scoured and bleached the raw knitting fabric using H2O2, the Stabilizer SOF made from Clariant company and the multivalent chelatase ZUN. We discovered adding H2O2 would increase the production efficiency, reduce the production cost and reduce the quantity of the waste water, when we scoured and bleached the raw knitting fabric using alkali. In the new processing in which we use the H2O2 cellulase to operate the knitting fabric, we found the tiny yellow pigment in the bamboo fiber surface could be removed, and the product's white color and light could be enhanced. In dying processing, we dye the fabrics using direct dyes , reactive dyes. And we design the new processing in which the lg/L alkali should be added at first.This processing could make the fabric color uniformity more better than the old processing in which the quantity of alkali added firstly was 1/3 g/L or 2/3 g/L. At the same time, we control the pre-processing and the dying processing strictly, such as avoiding the strong alkali boiling, strengthening the washing and so on. Therefore, the dying quality include the fabric strength, dye-uptake, cast, etc. is good.We adoped overfeed shrink-proof process. Through commanding fabric breadth-expansion and length-overfeed, fabric shrinkage was effectively controlled.In the processing of the enzyme treatment, we analysed the properties and the function mechanism of the cellulase. On the base of that, we decided scientific and rational process conditions of cellulase treatment.At the end of this paper, we tested and analysed the comfort and durable property of the knitting fabric, according to the function request of knitting underwear product. And we also evaluated comprehensively all properties of the bamboo fiber knitting fabric that we developed. Moreover, further development direction is put forward.
