As a dominating loom ,the rapier loom has developed to an excellent technical level. But in our domestic area , we can just produce the low-end rapier loom, the reason rest with the difficulty of control and drive of the electronic let-off. the domestic corporation want to survive, must can they break through the chokepoint of technical and develop the top grade rapier loom. aiming at the working characteristic of the loom and referring to the trend of the loom technical. this article designed an drive system of electronic let-off and electrical source of the brake. The electrical source of the brake control the shut down of the loom. due to the need of the particular craftwok of the loom , principal axis is limited to a special position after stop of the loom , so it must to detect the position of the principal axis. and the snapping weft clutch must control the accurate stopping of the principal axis under the current of electrical source of the brake, based on this ,the writer designed a drive circuit system of the power mosfet, and it can supply the pulse current to adpating request of the stopping of the loom. another emphases of this article is the design of the drive system of the electronic let-off, due to the high precision of let-off of the loom ,the AC servo and other servo system is can't perform very well , and the traditional DC servo has been slowly washed out because of it's noise. As a burgeoning motor , The dc brushless motor possesses of outstanding capability of timing , and is the trend of the recent time, based on this , this article adopted the PWM technical, and designed the drive system of electronic let-off, due to it's excellent performance of middle-low speed, the system adapted the need of the work of the loom better.
