Aluminum Corporation of China Limited Qinghai Branch is an electrolysis aluminium smelter with professional level of Aluminum Corporation of China Limited, Its main production are remelting aluminium ingot and anode block. Qinghai branch has formed not only electrolysis aluminium production scale of 330,000 tons, but also the highest altitude above sea level, the largest capacity and quantity of the electrolysis enterprise all over the country. In order to improve the further market competitive ability and demand for two potlines extending capacity reconstruction, we should develop and design an adjustable busbar lifting device with a single pole, which can be extended capacity while not stop production.According to the corporation actual circumstance of the reconstruction for extending capacity, this paper discussed the reconstruction principle , the technological conditions for extending capacity reconstruction, the reconstruction project of busbar lifting device, the influence of an adjustable busbar lifting device with a single pole on the technological conditions of 180KA middle-feeding pre-baked anode electrolysis pots and etc.a The reconstruction principle is on the premise of contenting with the the technological conditions of 160KA middle-feeding pre-baked anode electrolysis pots for extending capacity reconstruction and matching to the unified programming, which can make use of the current facilities well, utmost save the investment, develop and design independently the adjustable busbar lifting device with a single pole.It is the premise that the reconstruction for extending capacity does not change electrolysis, not change the slot width in the anode, which adopt the symmetry anode to look for the most economic practical new method for realizing aluminum reduction pots extending capacity reconstructioa The way is that add an aluminum mat piece on its outside respectively on which two side of the level busbarlink mutually, the thickness of the mat piece is 50mm,even the anode rod move along the pot outside 50mm level, the slot width in the anode is as the same as the before, it is still 250mm, the adjustable busbar lifting device with a single pole after manufacture first choose eight 160KA middle-feeding pre-baked anode electrolysis pots in two potlines for a try.□ Through the reconstruction for the development and designing of the adjustable busbar lifting device, it contented with the demand for 160KA middle-feeding pre-baked anode electrolysis pots for extending capacity reconstruction, after about half a year's operation examining, it proved that each technological index of the busbar lifting device after reconstruction reached to the designing demand, now the device operation is stable, and so this reconstruction is successful. At the same time it creates a good condition for the later two potlines reconstruction, the achievement, which we acquired, has popular and useful value in the same profession.
