| Process industry not only consume large amounts of fresh water, but emit a considerableamount of wastewater, which is an important source of natural discharges of pollutants. In recentyears, increasing pollution and waste of water resources has become a problem of our economicdevelopment problems. It also made for industrial process water-saving abatement requirements.Process integration technology for the study of water conservation abatement provided technicalsupport and systematic approach. It has made some progress in the research process. But inactual industrial production, many problems remain to be to find and solutions to complexsystem applications that have certain difficulties. Against this background, this paper tries tooptimization design to water-using network on the production system. On the basis of summingup the results of relevant research about process integration technology, water-pinch technologyin process integration technology is applied to water-using network of petroleum chemicalindustry production. The status quo of water-using unit in petro chemical enterprises andwater-saving potential are a comprehensive analysis.
