The batching process is a very important sector in industries such steel metallurgy and building materials. The quality of batching directly affects the output and quality of follow-up products, thus a high quality and high efficiency batching control system is a precondition necessary to the high quality and high efficiency that modern industries pursue. As some of the batching lines of Pangang still use the traditional manual way to adjust the speed of disk feeders to control the volume of material supply, which no longer meets the requirement of the prodcution, this sintering auto-batching system based on WINDOWS is designed. The features of the system are:1. Based on the production needs, a distributed control system with decentralized control of the feeding disks and centralized PC control is designed. The performance shows that the batching system provides convenience and flexibility to changing the disks.2. With regard to some defects in conventional PID control, a sectioned integral partitioning PID controller is designed. The performance shows that the controller is simple and effective.3. Based on the site condition, the measuring method of the materials is optimized.4. To make it convenient for the user to manage the production process, a data management system based on WINDOWS is designed. The system functions include: storage, display and printing of daily shift report sheet, production sheet and random sheet etc. ; setup, query, display and printing of system parameters of material proportioning, material water content, material measuring parameters, control parameters etc. ; material shortage alarming and the historical trend and realtime control trend showing.
