It has long been a theme that students hard to teach and interests can hardly be inspired in students when given classes focusing on theoretical knowledge. This tough problem ,especially sense in the major of gastronomy in secondary vocational schools of our kinds, how to thoroughly settle the problem, we take research in Vacational Activity Oriented Teaching Model when we give class to cuisine student of secondary vocational schools.Vacational Activity Oriented Teaching Model is the teaching program which takes get employed as the guidance, takes ability as the standard, takes the national professional skill appraisal standard as the basis, takes the occupation activity study domain as a content, using Action-oriented teaching method organization teaching, the raise has the synthesis professional quality skill talented person . Great efforts should be made to the study of the advantage of action-oriented teaching method in Germany so that we can use them to our gastronomical theory education . Put the theory of vocational activity oriented method of teaching into practice in Hangzhou Advanced technician school. Take experiment in 0408 and 0505 about two years .using experimental method , survey method and observing method.Vacational Activity Oriented Teaching Model has the quite tangible effects , enhancing the specialized student's study interest and raising student's synthesizing capacity, also has the originality in the teaching scene and the teaching method. It needs high comprehensive quality using this educational model teacher. To the student, the teaching location, the teaching appliance, the teaching appraisal, the teaching material and so on all have the high request. While it does not make much progress on the education of the less-competent students. Carries on in the educational model the reform also to need social, the school vigorously support and the coordination.By using this teaching method for a long time,the psychology of depence do occur in the minority of students. And thus it is not helpful to the whole students. The long effect research of vocational activity oriented need research.
