At present, the development of technical training has met bottleneck since the number of students has been reducing and it is hard to recruit student. Traditional technical training featured by expertise and skills teaching cannot meet the need of time. With the development of science and technology and knowledge economy, the requirements on quality and capability of individuals are more and more higher, and the traditional technical training is losing its value because of weakness in humanities and the limitations in job-based technical training. Therefore, how to improve the quality of cuisining teaching and the comprehensive capabilities of students in secondary vocational school has been an important subject for the schools to study.The paper has five chapters: the chapter 1 introduces the background of the subject, arguments and the study circumstances of technical training at home and abroad, presenting the necessity of studying on the subject; chapter 2 reviews the history and development of cuisining training in secondary vocational school, and conducts analysis over students, teachers and teaching status via questionnaire; chapter 3 presents the analysis and study on teaching mode, course system, teaching methods and teacher resources for cuisining training in secondary vocational school; chapter 4 points out the measures and ways to improve cuisining teaching in school, including changing the education concept, using many teaching modes, improving the appraisal system on cuisining teaching. Also, we have to enhance the construction of infrastructure for cuisining, cultivate and motivate the students in secondary vocational school to learn the subject, and use IT to optimize the teaching of cuisining, as well as strengthen the training of teachers to make them"teacher +expert"; chapter 5 presents the conclusion and review of the subject.The first-hand information presented in paper is obtained via documentation index, investigation, consultation, questionnaire, etc. The paper investigates and analyzes the cuisining teaching in secondary vocational school in China, and points out the problems, and also proposes some suggestions on the teaching of cuisining in school.The result of the paper is practical and target-oriented, and it can help improve the quality of cuisining teaching in secondary vocational school.
