With the constant development of the space cause of our country and demand of the modernization of national defense, the higher precision and larger tonnage hydraulic press machine of our country have been put forward higher demand to the control level. The 300MN hydraulic press machine is the biggest machine in Asia at present; it is national defense of our country and key equipment of capital construction. However, the control system of the hydraulic press machine at present has already worn out; it can't meet the present intelligent control method, so the transformation to the hydraulic press is imperative. As the quick development of Field bus and net control system, it has completely changed the structure of control system, so introducing Field bus and net control system to the transformation of the hydraulic press, its research meaning is very enormous.This paper has discussed in depth to study and master the PROFIBUS fieldbus.Considering a wide variety of complex features, such as system reliability, compatibility and scalability, PROFIBUS-DP has been selected as the system fieldbus. Considering modular configuration and decentralized control, the net control system based on PROFIBUS-DP &MPI including operate system and synchronization system between PLCs has been constructed, in which S7-300 is as the master station while S7-200 is as the slave station.According to the reliability and maintainability of the actual industrial scene.The network fault diagnosis system between operate system based on PROFIBUS-DP and synchronization based on MPI has been constructed.the fault alarm interface is designed friendly for fault diagnosis and fault inquiries.and this work inmprove the maintainability of the control system.The delay of network control system based on PROFIBUS-DP has been analysized.According to the time-driven approach,the control system has been simplified.and the maximum network delay has been calculated.The influence on system performance from network delay time has been considered.Simulation results show that the network delay of control system may lead to over-regulation, oscillation; and this may lead harmful effects to the performance of operate system. So we must take the network delay into account and compensate the network delay when constructing a network control system.
