Because the high speed of the modern metallurgy industry develops, the iron ladle is the important tool of transporting iron water in the steel enterprise and becoming used more and more broadly. With the metallurgy industrial equipments always renew, putting forward higher request to the usage function of iron ladle including to expand capacity, prolong life span and keep temperature from run off quick etc. Now it is the main method of using computer to carry on 3D numeral simulation and analysis.This issue comes from an actual item in the Kunming steel group, It carries on a reformation to expand capacity of 65 ton iron ladle, requesting to add ladle height and not to make modification to ladle structure with other body, The iron iron water extends to 75 tons. The research object in this issue is the reformation iron ladle The thesis makes use of UG software to build up the 3D numerical model of 75 ton iron ladle reformation structure , according to the constant of the iron water capacity , through to set up a mold method to find out the angle of iron water. To research the work process of iron water, the thesis finds out two typical working condition of iron ladle slowness to promote and the slow-moving dumping condition, The thesis analyses the overturn characteristic in the second work condition ,making use of least square method to solve iron ladle of the over-turn moment and inclination angle and make sure the reformation iron ladle can't turn over automatic, It is provided a mechanics data for the finite elemnt analysis.Through to research two typical model work condition, The thesis analyses force circumstance under each work condition and take no account of the temperature influence of the factor upon the research object under the condition. The thesis makes use of ANSYS-Workbench software to carry on a finite element analysis to the reformation iron ladle. Then the thesis Studies the maximum stress and strain in two kinds of work condition .Combining the further applied material mechanics flection stress theories and checking the flection stress of the ear stalk in the ladle. The thesis studies whether the iron ladle reformation structure satisfy the design request or not and finds out analysis to study the iron ladle of the method and path. It verifies the credibility and accuracy of finite element and provides theories for the reformation design of the business enterprise a basis.according to the main research object in the analysis of finite element, The thesis adopts the whole method to carry on solving to the iron ladle analysis and neglects the interaction of iron water and ladle body. It simplifies to solve process and provides the instruction of analytical the large and complicated structure.
