The ore of An-Shan-type magnetite is an important resource of iron ore in our country, which is one of the most important mineral used to smelt steel in the industry at present. The reserves of the ore in the East of Hebei province are immense while the iron content of the ore is rather low. The amounts of the iron ore which need to be concentrated are large and the consumption of energy is enormous. The consumption of energy in blasting, crushing and grinding is very high in proportion. in the mill. Thereby, it is very important to reduce the consumption of blasting ,crushing and grinding for the mine-and-mill and the national economy. In the researching the"more blasting and more crushing"and"more crushing and less grinding"is implemented. The intention is to enhance the consumption of dynamite proportionably, which intensify the blasting and minish the granularity of the ore, and increase the energy consumption of the crushing, which minish the particle size of the product of the crashing. The whole processing of smashing is more clear through studying the energy consumed in grinding and the particle size of the crushing product, the energy consumed in crashing and the particle size of the product and the particle size of the feeding and the cost of dynamite and the average granularity of the exploded ore and the hunk ratio. The cost of dynamite, the reducing of the larger ore, the loading ,the transiting and the energy consumed in crushing and grinding consisted of the whole cost of the smashing. It can be realized to optimize the energy consumption of smashing and minimized the cost of smashing at the same time through programming the whole processing. It considered the mine and the mill as one processing through implementing the"more blasting and more crashing"and"more crashing and less grinding"in optimizing the consumption of energy in ore-smashing. The study will be very significant for the mine-and-mill's energy-saving, designing and rebuilding.
