Study on recrystallization ultrafine and crystal form of NTO in the paper, the development in preparing ultrafine explosive at home and abroad and Main methods of ultrafine NTO are comprehensively analyzed, finally, the experimental main methods for the selection of vacuum distillation and supported research for supercritical GAS.In this paper, using acetone as the solvent and by changing the distillation temperature , the initial concentration of the solution and the vacuum system parameters, to control the particle size distribution and crystal shape of NTO, which is separated out from acetone solution with vacuum distillation. The results are analyzed by the theory of vacuum distillation. Finally, we determine the optimum process parameters, and supported research for Supercritical GAS, experimental Supercritical GAS validate of the direct impact of temperature on the Crystal shape in the process of running ultrafine NTO. The exterior characteristics ,impact sensitivity and explosive speed of ultrafined NTO are also mensurated.The experimental results show that to control the particle size distribution and crystal shape of NTO, which is separated out from acetone solution with vacuum distillation. The results are analyzed by the theory of vacuum distillation. Finally, we determine the optimum process parameters. The results show that the most important effect on crystal form is distillation temperature. Secondly it is the vacuum system parameters. Solution initial concentration of small, vacuum system on the particle size of the impact is the greatest. Water temperature is less than 53℃, the impact is larger; water temperature is higher than 53℃, the impact is smaller. When the distillation temperature is around 60℃, the vacuum system is 0.05~0.06MPa,initial concentration of the solution is not less than 0.2 grams per 12 ml, by vacuum distillation we can get inerratic comparatively cubic crystal form, that the particle size is around one micron and the distribution is narrow. Experimental supercritical GAS validate of the direct impact of temperature on the crystal shape, which coincides with the vacuum distillation for recrystallization NTO. The impact sensitivity of NTO decreases apparently through the process of being ultrafined, while the explosive speed increases prominently in this process.
