With the crude oil becoming heavier and worse, ratio of inferior crude oil processed by oil refining e nterprises is increa sing. With the increasing proportion of poor quality and heavy crude oil exploitation, the advantage of inferior crude oil prices, and the limitations of crude oil processing capac ity and requi rements of raw materials, deep vacuum distillation of inferior crude oil is becoming an important link to increa seprofit in recent years.In order to meet the needs of processing inferior crude oil and requirements of 5000000 tons per year of crude oil processing, this paper showed the deep vacuum dis tillation, the advantages and disadvantages of the common measures, combining with the properties of raw materials in Petrochemical Industries Co and the processing ability of the Petrochemical In dustries Co, Dagang vacuum deep cut revamping scheme is put fo rward.According to the research, transformation plan is presented to transform the main equipment and process piping of decompression device and decompres sion tower internals vacuum pumping system in order to meet the requirement of deep vacuum distillation.Comprehens ive analyses of modified distill ation devicess operation effects and probably existing problems of downstream devices, besides, are made.This work in Dagang Petrochemical Industries Co 5000000 tons per year has a positive meaning on overall optimi zation, improvi ng the supporting, liminating the bottleneck,expanding the processing capacity and the refinery profit space and providing theoretical and practical basis of processing inferior crude oil by atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit and its optimization for the petrochemical enterprises.
