Section 272 of the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" provides that: pedestrian or climbing mine car are forbidden when the mine cars are going, the controlling system of the winch should be interlocked. To ensure that this requirement in the production process can be implemented, the paper developed a set of transport safety interlocking system for inclined drift of mine, to eliminate the phenomenon of pedestrian and climbing mine car from the technical perspective, and to complete the interlocking with the controlling system of the winch.First of all, the development status quo of the subject at home and abroad are summed up in the paper. Then, the technical scheme for the system to achieve the function of "no pedestrian when mine cars are running, no driving when there are pedestrians" is established. The scheme is that the system real-time monitors the number of the pedestrian in the inclined drift and ensures that the winch can not be launched when the number is not zero, when the winch is in the state of being launched, the system will warn the pedestrian trying to enter the drift. The system will output controlling signal to the controlling system of the winch, achieve the function of interlocking.In order to achieve the real-time monitoring of the number of the pedestrians in the inclined drift, a pedestrian monitoring module is developed in the paper, which can judge the direction of the pedestrian, then calculates out the number of the pedestrian walking in the drift and the number of pedestrian walking out the drift. Through the CAN bus, which has the characteristics of outstanding reliability, real-time, flexibility, transmission distance up to 10 KM, the sub-controlling modules transit the number of the pedestrians walking in and out of the drift through every entrance to the main controlling module. The system calculates out the sum of the pedestrian in the drift, and then the function of monitoring the number is achieved. The information of the number of is converted to the interlocking signal controlling the winch, that is only when the number equivalent to zero, the winch can be launched. The main controlling module collects the stop and start signal from the controlling system of the winch, when the winch is launched, sound and light warning signal will be send out at every entrance of the inclined drift to prevent pedestrian entering the drift. Finally, in order to send the number and other information to the control center on the ground, the system is designed with an Ethernet communication module, which facilitates the system accessing to the mine monitoring system.
