In this paper,air-jet vortex spinning mechanism and fore-spinning process of modal/polyester/flax,wool/viscose/polyester,apocynum/viscose/cotton and combed cotton/viscose/wool MVS yarns were illustrated.In addition,some other important processes were analyzed and reasonable parameters were set.In air-jet vortex spinning system,many factors affect the strength of yarn,mainly including spinning speed,feeding ratio,drawing ratio,coiling ratio and so on.Five parts were included in this paper.In the first part,the development and classification of the new spinning technique,the research state of multi-component spinning technology,the purpose,significance and research content of this thesis were summarized.The second part introduced the spinning processes and yarn properties of air-jet vortex spinning.The production and processing of four kinds of multi-components MVS yarn were introduced in the third part.The fourth part analyzed the properties of these four kinds of multi-component MVS yarn and made a contrastive research on ring yarn and MVS yarn of the same components.In the last part,the research state at home and abroad and research methods of yarn structure were presented,and the structure of air-jet vortex yarn were further studied.The performance indexes of the multi-component MVS yarn,such as breaking tenacity,breaking elongation,unevenness,hairiness,wear resistance and so on,were mainly researched and contrasted with ring yarn of the same components.The results show that properties of multi-component MVS yarn superior to ring yarn except strength. After applying tracer fiber in spinning yarn,making yarn slice and analysis with electron microscope photos,it was observed that air-jet vortex yarn has internal and external two-part structure.The outer layer is helical and the inner layer is composed of parallel fiber core.Calculation shows the coefficient of fiber migration of MVS yarn is lower than ring yarn,which shows the advantage of MVS yarn.
