Traditional ring spun is a primitive way to produce yarns. The yarn produced by this method has poorer quality and lots of hairiness due to the existence of the twisting triangle, and cannot satisfy the need of modern production. In order to achieve the better yarn quality and mechanical properties of yarn, compact spinning system has appeared. Yarn quality is greatly improved by this way. Compact spinning can be divided into two categories, negative pressure type and mechanical type, negative pressure type including widely applied lattice apron compact spinning and hollow roller compact spinning system. RoCos compact spinning is one of the mechanical compact spinning. Spinning system determines the fibers exact location in the yarn body. Different fiber arrangement and migration regularity make different influence on yarn performance. The study of compact spinning are mainly concentrate on spinning process, but there has less research on migration regularity of fiber in the yarn body. According to this, the paper research on transfer regularity of compact spinning yarn based on tracer fiber method and microscope method. Then, compared compact spinning and traditional ring spinning yarn to grasp the internal structure of the compact spinning yarn and find its unique structural characteristics.In this paper, the fiber migration regularity in the compact spinning yarn body is studied by means of the method of microscope and tracer fiber. The paper mainly talk about yarn density, radial location of fiber, inside and outside transfer coefficient of fiber distribution of fibers, maximum and minimum peaks and radial distribution regularity of yarn twist and so on. First, under the double drafting system to research fiber migration regularity in the yarn body among ring spun, RoCos compact spinning that agglomerate by mechanical and the hollow roller compact spinning that agglomerate by negative pressure. Second, compared ring spun with the lattice apron compact spinning, obtain compact spun yarns’fiber migration regularity in the yarn body. Explore the difference of fiber migration regularity between ring spun yarn and compact spinning yarn, then obtain the fiber migration regularity of compact spinning fibers inside and outside the body.The research results show that compared with ring spinning yarn:compact spinning yarn has higher intensity, smaller fiber radial position, lower internal and external transfer coefficient, smaller yarn twist radial distribution inner and outer yarn body, Fiber of compact spinning line of maximum and minimum values of peaks and troughs fluctuations relatively smaller, and with the increase of fiber projection length, fiber of compact spinning yarn maximum and minimum values of peaks and troughs are gradually stabilized; along with the increase of radial position, twist of compact spinning yarn decreasing slower than ring spun.
