High-speed rotation test-bed is a equipment which tests the thrust of rotating solid rocket engine and the combustion chamber pressure. the operation range is 0-15000rpm (0-250Hz). in practical vibration will occur in a specific rotational speed range. in the range of vibration, engine can not be measured, even will suffer an impact on the life of High-speed rotation test-bed in a long run. As a result of spindle axis installation error between engine and High-speed rotation test-bed, the quality of their own eccentric of engine, and the thrust eccentric produced when engine working, the eccentric force occur at principal axis and effect the High-speed rotation test-bed, resulting in High-speed rotation test-bed vibration during working process is inevitable.This paper investigates the modal analysis with respect to the High-speed rotation test-bed through finite element method. We can get the natural frequencies and vibration mode and other related information though Modal analysis. Through the comparative analysis of the results, we can get the vibration characteristics and the frequency range of High-speed rotation test-bed. In this paper, ANSYS is used for High-speed rotation test-bed mode analysis, UG is used for Modeling, Modeling will neglected the parts that have little effect for the result, and simplify the parts that does not affect the structural strength. The next work is to analyze the model. The work of this paper is as follows:(1) Modal analysis of High-speed rotation test-bed. There are three natural frequency orders in the scope of work by calculation, and could get the vibration mode of each order.(2) Modal analysis of the High-speed rotation test-bed with the engine. By calculating we can see the vibration of High-speed rotation test-bed with the engine. With the weight of engine increase, the size of the natural frequency of every order then reduces, and with the weight of the engine increase, the natural frequency order increases.(3) Modal analysis of considering weight eccentric of High-speed rotation test-bed with the engine. For engine installed as a result of a different axis, the quality of their own eccentric of engine, and the thrust eccentric produced when engine working, so High-speed rotation test-bed have force eccentric when it working. By calculating, the effect of eccentric forces to the High-speed rotation test-bed is obtained. The sizes of natural frequencies decreased because of eccentric forces, but the influence is little. Finally, with comparative analysis of the above three cases, can see, the same order as compared to roughly the same formation, the first order, second order, fourth order, fifth-order formation mainly offset engine, and the third-order mainly torsion formation around the Z-axis of the high-speed rotation test-bed. The natural frequency range of every order can be obtained by conclusion.
