Jiaodong Water Transfer Project with large scale construction and long lines goes through the wide area, as a major trans-basin water transfer project, a great deal of earth excavation will be required, which cause landscape, original geomorphology and ground vegetation great damage. Water and soil loss will happen at local area. Pollutant emissions by mechanical equipment and a large number of concrete mixing will cause certain pollution of local water when construction. Based on the Construction and Operation of the causes of water pollution and soil erosion, some relevant solutions proposed effectively reduce the project construction on local water and the loss of natural geographical environment to enable the project to play the greatest economic and social benefits. Some main conclusions are the following.(1) The regional environmental quality including the water environment quality, groundwater quality conditions, have been investigated.(2) The impact on the environment and the protection countermeasures have been studied by canal basin, cross-buildings, pumping stations, buildings open channel various forms of analysis. These countermeasures will be used for the production and classification of sewage treatment to partition soil erosion control measures.(3) The water pollution control and water conservation measures proposed through the environmental impact during the operation on the project status analysis and forecast.
