Hydraulic system has kinds of fault in the course of using because of various reasons. How to accurate and timely jude the fault position directly related to business productivity and efficiency issues. Therefore, it is very urgent to do a good job in the failure analysis of hydraulic system and judgement. The practical significance of measurability research of hydraulic system is to make the equipment to play the greatest effectiveness through completing the task of fault diagnosis by using the smallest testing set.Firstly, the history of the development of the hydraulic system fault diagnosis and the status were reviewed, measurability research of hydraulic system was descriped. Secondly, using the 2000T rapid forging machine as an example, it is got a sufficient conclusion by measurable analysis with exhausitive method. Then it is got a satisfactory result by deep discussions of measurability problems of hydraulic system with path sensitizing method. On the basis of what has said measurable design problems of the rapid forging machine were discussed. By adding control devices, the measurability of hydraulic system is enhanced significantly; thereby the efficiency of the hydraulic system fault detection is improved.
