Aircraft landing gear system is one of the key components, because the work environment is relatively poor, a high probability of failure sometime occurred in the use of it. So its performance directly affects the take off or landing performance and flight safety. In actual maintenance for gear fault analysis and research, mainly using artificial judgment method, this method is not only inefficient and it's subjectivity is strong, but also relies on the person's experience especially strong, so this dependence of the method can not meet the current maintenance needs.This paper firstly analysises the structure of the landing gear system and the working principle of XiaoYing plane detailedly, and further studies in the Contraction and Release system .And then establishes the retractable equation of motion in the best institutions based on the future analysis of common fault , and realize the retractable body motion simulation of the Contraction and Release institutions in the Pro / E environment . and then on the present retractable institutions puts in equipment of the contingency analysis and proposes modification, to complete the design modification system in theory.From the construction of aircraft landing gear system and the working principle, based on the traditional fault diagnosis, by analyzing common failure, we proposed the fault diagnosis system design. Based on the software program approach, from process analysis, we put forward functional requirements design and design the environment of software and hardware, then construct the E-R(relationship and entity picture) of system, while via the PowerDesigner tool to establish database conceptual data model and database physic data model ,which meets design's demand ,generate related MS SQL SERVER database table.Based on the forward design, taking advantage of developing technology which is based on the .NET platform, we have realized the landing gear fault diagnosis system of Xiaoying500 aircraft, which is based on B/S construction. It has passed the related tests. The system is user-friendly, simple, powerful, was a well to meet the current needs of the expert system. This system is user-friendly, operated simply, powerful and a system which is meeting the present requirements.
