Asphalt Concrete Pavement is widely used in the construction of the urban road for its high smoothness, stable and comfortable driving, low noise and easy maintenance. However, among the built asphalt concrete highways, there are quite a number of sections whose service performance is seriously affected by the diseases of cracks, moisture damage, loose, flushing, lapse. The diseases have seriously affected the vehicular speed, traffic safety, increased vehicle wear and tear, shortening the service life of asphalt pavement, and also more and more aroused general concern of the industry. The general highway construction in Dongying City developed rapidly since the mid-80s. The mileage of the urban road increased year by year. In the early stage in the general highway construction, for that the low level construction technology, project management is not strict or absence of some specific technical specifications and standards, the quality and service life of the road generally fail to achieve the design requirements. The Huanghe,Fuqian and Dongsan road which are constructed earlier and used for long. And now kinds of damages have exposed. In this paper, relying on the investigation and research project on the highway sections mentioned before, I mainly analysed and researched on the typical damages.Aiming at road pavement diseases of Dongying city, different pavement structure were proposed. The professional softwares(ANSYS,BISAR,HPDS)were used to calculate indexes of pavement structure. Through calculating results, we determined the optimal pavement design scheme.
