With the acceleration of urbanization process, the rapid development of urban construction and scale, and the rapid expansion of the population, there were more and more problems, such as,the tensions of building land, the overcrowding of living space,,the jam of traffic, the poor of infrastructure, the imbalance of ecological and the deterioration of the environment, these led to the impact on lives, restricted the economic development and social progress, become to the opponent of the development of modern cities. In this background, the development and utilization of urban underground space is urgent. After the completion of construction, underground internal environment directly affect their efficiency of use. It is critical of the controlling of internal environment.Construction in the underground, the ground has little effect on climates, and couples with the thermal properties of rock and soil, which determines that the difficult to wet and heat dispersion, thus affecting the thermal state of the environment, which requires good atmospheric conditions. These characteristics results in small coefficient of building, good thermal insulation and large heat storge. keep comfortable indoor environment, lowing air conditioning load and reducing energy consumption. Air-conditioning energy consumption in building energy consumption accounts for a large portion, regardless of the ground or underground construction, it is particularly important for everyone to save the air-conditioning energy consumption. In this paper, we used Fluent to simulate the flow fields and temperature fields of the underground and ground clothing room of Xi'an. By the simulation, we compared the air-conditioning energy consumption with underground and ground building. Simultaneously, we compared energy consumption with the underground and ground department store.
