Research On Rehabilitation Of Historic Building In Urban Renewal

Nowadays, China's economy maintains a high-speed development, and city renewal process is moving on at an unprecedented large scale and speed.Under such circumstances, historic buildings rehabilitation is accordingly becoming a social focus. The thesis taking the urban renewal as the background studying, focuses on the Wuhan-Tiandi square which has undergone tremendous changes in the process of the urban renewal recently. Study of problems that how diverse values make effect to the rehabilitation of historic buildings, explore the rehabilitation strategy of urban sustainable development.This thesis consists of three parts. The part of preface explains the reason why the author selects this topic for discussion, and makes a generality on the current situation .Meanwhile, it brings forward the study methods and tenet of this paper.The second part analyzes the general situation in rehabilitation.,make discussion in the meso-level, about the renewal of the Wuhan-Tiandi commercial block and the historical buildings. By analyzing the relationship between the historical factors and survival and new factors, reveal the effect of commercial demands to the rehabilitation strategy.The last part is the summary of above, take this as the example, seeks the rehabilitation strategy of the historical buildings, for urban sustainable development.
