Study On Method Of Product Design For Seniors Based On Design Science Of Human Affairs

Design science of human affairs is method for design in the economic society. It started from the affairs by understanding users, external factors and clarifying goal of design. The product is the result of users, tasks and environment, and its rationality is tested by the affairs. Design science of human affairs is only knowledge for method, which is only a research plan. There is not specific method. This article is issued in design science of human affairs to study the method of product design, which can lay the foundation for establishing a complete method theory.Four parts are:Firstly, we discussed about the background and Significance of our article and made introduction for our research content and method. Then we argued more about characters of design science of human affairs by focusing on meaning of this science, especially for senior products.Secondly, this is the key note for the issue. In the guidance of design science of human affairs, we talked about the methods for researching affairs, such as "method of scenarios analysis, method of purpose analysis and method of course of action analysis."method of scenarios analysis includes: generalized scenarios analysis, limited scenarios analysis and specific scenarios analysis, which are used in example. Then we talked about method of purpose analysis. There are three levels: analysis of feasibility, easy and experience of affairs. In the method of course of action analysis, we talked about model of affairs and model of action and give an example. .Thirdly, this article went further to study the affairs system of seniors. And we found demand, start of design. Then we made our detailed research on specific demand-- how the seniors act when buying things, including time , environment, situation and action. Finally, we designed an assisting product for the seniors and tested in the affairs.Finally, Conclusion and discussion are made for deeper study.
