One-way Traffic Of Urban Road Planning Studies

This thesis on traffic engineering science is mainly concern with using a systemic method to study the one way traffic system characteristics, categories and implementation requirements. The actual traffic distribution of a road section after being a one way system was done. After that, investigating the most effective evaluation index of the one way traffic, differentially discussion of two cases a section of a road and an intersection, currying out the analysis of the advantages when using a one way street. Finally, the Analytical Hierarchy Process was applied to determine the weight of each evaluation index. A conclusion was drawn by obtaining the comprehensive evaluation concept.The efficiency and superiority of the one way street was proved by applying to the two examples (a road section and an intersection) the traffic analysis before and after using a one way street.
