Study Of The Distribution Network Topology Analysis

Topology analysis is one of the most essential parts of the advanced software of the Distribution Management System. The research on it is of great value in theory and application. It also is the base of other advanced software of the Distribution Management System. As a public module, its performance directly affects the use of other advanced software of the Distribution Management System.This paper sets forth the two methods for topology analysis: neighboring matrix method and tree_search method, which are in common use. According to the characteristic of the distribution network, this paper improves the two methods. To the neighboring matrix method, the paper puts forward a method, which decreases the number of the nodes step by step. To the tree_search method, the paper transforms the effect on the network topology of the switch's state change into the effect on the network topology of the edge's state change and bus's combing or breaking up . The improved method saves the time of the distribution network topology analysis, and is suitable for the real_time applications.
