The Eco-city Spatial Structure - Also On Guangzhou Spatial Structure Is Optimized

Ecocity is a new mode of future city invented from the ecological view, the research on urban spatial structure of which should be attached importance to. Firstly, the article reviews the research on the pertinent fields and analyses the research on urban spatial structure that have the idea of ecocity. And four patterns of the researches are put forward in this paper, which include Feng Shui Pattern, Humanistic Pattern, Technology Utopia Pattern and Development Ecology Pattern. Secondly, from the relation between human and nature, the evolution of urban spatial structure is discussed on the basis of the development of the ecological ideology in building city. Thirdly, the urban spatial structure of ecocity is focused on constituent, characteristic, pattern and mechanism. Finally, some of those viewpoints are concretely discussed by optimizing urban spatial structure of Guangzhou city. The main ideas and conclusions are as follows:(1) Ecocity, as the fruit of the information culture and ecoculture of 21 century, is one kind of lively, healthy and harmonious human settlement environment.(2) The urban spatial structure of ecocity consists of ecological matrix, ecological function group and ecological corridor. And it will show five new characteristics as follows: ︰rban will has agriculture land and the relation between urban space and rural space will be syncretic. ㎞atural space and artificial space will be blended. (3) All kinds of function space will integrate. ?Land will be more used for settlement ,culture and tour. ︰rban spatial structure will extend to three-dimension space.(3) The urban spatial structure of ecocity should change with the urban scale. One -core structure fits to small ecocity; Two-core structure fits to middle-scale ecocity. Umlticore structure fits to big ecocity.(4) The developing mechanisms of urban spatial structure of ecocity are concluded as follows: deep mechanism-the form of self-conscious ecological idea; dynamic mechanism-the development of science and technology; managing mechanism-the restriction of urban plan; action mechanism-the change of action.(5) The future urban spatial structure of Guangzhou city should be umltilcore structure with "three-core and three-axis" and "one-core and one-ring, two-wedge and three-axis".
