When the ship is sailing on the sea, it should sail under varieties of complex seacondition. Whether the ship could sail safely and steadily or not is according to a lot of factors, the seakeeping is the most important one of them. How to reduce the rolling of the ship and improve the seakeeping of it has become an important research subject in the ship engineering field. After many years of research and experiments, a lot of kinds of anti-roll equipment were developed. The thesis mainly studies how to use computer and data acquisition control circuit and peripheral device to establish a response and control system, and also studies the principle and coding method of relevant acquisition control program. Further more the system should also control the anti-rolling tank of the ship model to stabilize on the regular wave in the laboratory and emphasis on how to reduce the influence of the vertical roll. It also discusses the relevant theory of the hydromechanics and computer automatic control, especially on the hardware and software part of the system, software component, and the design thinking of software, digital signal process, data acquisition, and filter method.The study object of the thesis is SWATH, which is a new kind of ship with the features of small water plane, there is a bigger submerge object under the water. SWATH has the advantages of good resistance performance in the still water when sail at high speed, high impelling efficiency and good seakeeping performance. It is a kind of high performance ship and has vast application prospect. Studying the anti-rolling performance of this kind of the new ship has significance in improving the performance of it and enriches the theory of SWATH study.After a lot of tests, the SWATH model has reached the study purpose partly, but there still is a great deal of work to do in the signal respond and process. Because the time is limited, this part of job just begins studying. The study subject belongs to ship hydromechanics, and it came from the SWATH which was designed by ShangHai ship academe for the Bohai ocean oil field. Our department took on the ship model experiment project.
