Double horizontal shaft mixer is a new-style mixer, which is widely used in many conditions because of the high mixing quality and productivity. This paper begins with the mechanism and purpose of mixing, introduces the working principle and advantages of the mixer. According to design limitations of the mixing mechanism, the author puts forward the research task of this thesis. Through the theoretical analysis of the mixing process, raises the optimum aim to attain same quality at three dimensional directions in the mixing cylinder, and concretely explicates the parametric design. Finally, defines the optimal parameters by the testing research, also gives conclusions and suggestions.
