| The safety system preventing collision is an important part of the ITS. Many investigators all over the world have studied it. Against the frequency of rear-end collision in the freeway, a suit of Rear-end Collision Warning System to be fit for the situation of our country is studied in order to strive for more time for drivers, and reduce rear-end collision.Based on the model of safe following distance, the design blue print of system is presented in the text. Using the multiple impulses Horae rotate speed sensor to measure the vehicle speed and nanometer radar to measure the distance of own vehicle to frontal vehicle, and analyzing and judging collected information by AT89C51 which is the control centre of the system. When the following distance is less than the safe distance, the relevant alarm is raised to driver. Real-time, precision and reliability is fully considered in the progress of the collected information and disposed information, and hardware and software is designed. Furthermore anti-jamming is fully studied. |
