Research On The Vehicle's Backside Anti-collision Warning System

In recent years, the safety situation of our state's road traffic is very serious. If the driver could be warned before the accident happened and able to take certain avoiding measure, it will reduce and prevent occurrence of the accidents, and the safety of people and wealth will also be guarded. The vehicle's backside anti-collision warning system is the vehicle's equipment which based on improving the active safety of the vehicle, and warns the driver before the chasing collisions.On the basis of analyzing the running condition of the vehicle and the practice driving environment, this paper has established the vehicle running backside safety model and designed the vehicle backside anti-collision warning system. It has four units including main controlling unit, radar ranging unit, GPS speed measure unit, sound and light warning part. It has been designed in both software and hardware. The system has used the popular vehicle communication manner-CAN Bus, which will improve the reliability and universality of the system. In the design course, the paper has improved the anti-jamming ability in both software and hardware according to the request of Electro Magnetic Compatibility, which also improve the system's capability.The precision of the radar ranging system has been validated by the static test. At the same time, the capability and reliability of the system have also been validated by the simulate test. The results of the tests indicate that the system can warnings the driver when the distance between vehicle and barrier is less than the minimum safety distance, and the error and failing warning haven't occurred. It could be used as a vehicle's equipment, and has reached the requirements of designning expectedness.
