As the development of traffic construction of our country, especially the implement of western development strategy, the highway tunnel plan are leading to important increasingly in the high class highway construction of the mountain and the hills. And more and more mountain tunnels with different length and different type have been built up. So, to summary and study the mountain tunnels construction and monitoring technology in time, especially have a deeper understanding of the bad situation in the tunnel construction and grasp the successful experience and failure lesson from the tunnels already built up could provide important reference details and decision basis for newly built project, and also it is necessary for building up highway tunnels economically and high qualifiedly.Combined with the examples of Leigongshan tunnel project which is from Pingshan of Shenzhen to Xichong, tunnel advance support pre-reinforcing technology and initial support construction technology are deeply discussed in this article. Traditional mining method and NATM(New Austrian Tunneling Method) in mountain tunnel construction are researched in theory system, mechanical concept, designation principle and actually use. According to contrast and analysis of the usage of these two ways in construction slide, the whole process handle slide in the way of NATM are deeply discussed to different kind of slide type. On the basis of thorough analysis tunnel surrounding rock's stability, bad situation appear in the tunnel construction are probed into, meanwhile, the reason are analyzed and precautionary measure and the ways to solve the problem are provided. The process and methods of monitoring measurement in the course of construction are detailed the measuring data analyzed and treated are studied. Besides the forecast and calculate of tunnel surrounding rock stably displacement are deeply researched, and according to the uncertainty of geotechnical engineering, grey Verhulst Model is put forward to forecast tunnel surrounding rock displacement based on optimizing GM(1,1) Model. Finally, the special emphasis is laid upon the construction operation process of Leigongshan tunnel. Furthermore, analysis of results from monitoring measurement and its guide to construction operation is briefed. In addition, the bad situation in the construction process is commented.
