Based On Gprs Technology Lifting Machinery Monitoring System

Remote monitoring system has great significance for daily production and life of people. At present, Remote monitoring system has been increasing applied in many fields with the development of technologies and improvement of standard of living and productivity. It is believed that development of general remote monitoring system platform will have good prospect, which can be used to design various monitoring systems conveniently.The target of this project is to develop a wireless monitoring system based on GPRS technology. It is mainly used by mobile cranes and can be used by many other equipment because of it's generality. This kind of system is the integration of traditional computer , Internet and modern GPRS technology. It will be widely applied in many fields because it's great functions, low cost , convenience of operation and it's easy to install and maintain.Firstly .this thesis introducejthe overall framework and the method of design of the system. The system consists of two subsystems, the monitoring center and the monitoring terminal the two subsystems are connected through the Internet and GPRS network.The monitoring center has the functions such as electronic map,monitoring of image and data and database.The monitoring terminal is embedded system that consists of 32bit Jupiter micro-controller, FLASH ROM, SDRAM and other interface. The embedded system adopts embedded OS - uClinux so that the development of software is more convenient.And it is connected to the Internet through a GPRS modem.The software of embedded system has the ability that monitor the network condition to maintain it's connection.In the end of the thesis, conclusions and evaluations are given about this system. The development of monitoring system in the future is also suggested.
