| Based on the analysis of the Digital Image Print Head, we first discuss the key technique of the LCOS projection display, including the cell characteristic and optical projection system characteristic, then the application of LCOS for the Digital Image Print Head, its hardware system. This wins initial success for the color correction and system software of our Digital Image Print Head.The key techniques for the digital image output are the image preprocessing and color correction. In Chapter 3, we detail on the basic software modules of our LCOS Digital Image Print Head, this includes the software architecture design and its specific modules. We further detailed the image browsing, image constitution and other modules to support the system. These modules buildup the basic frame and also our thesis's main body.Based on the preliminary knowledge of color coordinate, color space and color difference, in Chapter 4, we focus on the image preprocessing, that is the gamut mapping between the color paper and the CRT displayed image. Color correction and its realization of our LCOS digital image print head are also given in this chapter.Experimental results of our LCOS Digital Image Print Head are given in Chapter 5. Conclusions are made. The future improvements are also proposed. |
