In the past because small caliber premade fragment shrapnel employs the impact fuze and this fuze was fixed at the warhead head, it needs only that the pill is provided with the side kill power and some kill radius. Now with new fuze appearance small caliber shrapnel can meet the blast at the fixed place and attack the target not only in flat trajectory but also above them in high-angle trajectory, which require that shrapnel should have the side kill power as well as the directional kill power of warhead head.In order to meet above requirements the thesis discusses the directional kill power of warhead head on 35mm shrapnel.The thesis finds out the relations of all kinds of factors that affect the warhead kill power and brings forward a formula of projection angle that is quite consistent with the experimental results in fragment density. The thesis analyses the process of the fragment shaping about the internal grooves warhead that is also quite in accord with the experimental results, which base the advanced mechanics analysis later.
