In this dissertation, a research has been made on the law of fragments and penetration effects under the circumstance of fragmentation artillery warhead attacking infantry fighting vehicles. It was carried out from such three aspects, warhead blast, fragment penetration and armored vulnerability.First, some regular patterns like mass distribution, space distribution and initial velocity of warhead fragments have been studied. A calculation formula of fragment mass distribution prediction was established. Based on numerical simulations, fragment spatial distribution and initial velocity regularities have been verified.Second, several experiments about controlled fragments and natural fragements penetrating armored plates have been done. Through the experimental results, we found that, with the incidence angle goes up, the ultimate velocity of controlled fragments increases. And the limit velocity of natural fragments decreases along with the mass increases. At the same time, by summaring experimental data, a formula for calculating the fragments limit penetration velocity and the equivalent thickness conversion relationship of different plates have been developed.Last, the vulnerability of infantry fighting vehicles has been discussed. The equivalent models of key components and whole vehicle have been made. And then, a model for caculating the kill probability of key components and whole vehicle have been put forward. |
