No Duty Substation Remote Video Surveillance System

For the requirements of remote monitoring and nobody on duty. In this paper , we discuss a remote network video monitoring system used for transformer substation ,this system constitutes of some vidicons, video servers, client control center and communication network. We the theory of Windows Sockets and Network Programming , H.263 protocol and the method of detecting movement on video, including some explanations of key technology. We put forward a design plan of this system and realized it on VC. Finally, all of the work in this thesis is summed up. The future research of this system is prospected.
