Container Logistics Information System

Based on analyzing the development course and the newest international development tendency of Logistics, this paper defines the concept of Containerized Logistics in the research context of Generalized Logistics, limits its attribute and scope of operating, analyzes its containerized transport of organizing manner, and suggests Containerized Logistics Information Development Mode for the first time.Two techniques are in use during the writing of this paper: One is exerting the New Economics Theory to dissertate Containerized Logistics Development Mode should have the feasibility of virtual management and the effects with Scale Economics, Scope Economics, Speed Economics and Network Economics; the other is exerting the System Science Theory to analyze its attribute of system and engineering, and come up with Containerized Logistics System and Containerized Logistics System Engineering and study its research content, and put forward the viewpoint that Containerized Logistics Information Development Mode is the material application practice of Logistics Systematization Theory, and demonstrate the proposition that Containerized Logistics Information System Design is the key content and the important portion of Containerized Logistics Information System Engineering.Finally, according to the Information System Design Theory, this paper carries out the design of structural frame for Containerized Logistics Information System, in order to promote the industrialization development of Logistics and offer the theory basis of Containerized Logistics with information and network and virtual development.
