The Strategic Study To Develop Realway Freight For Merdern Logistics

The railway transportation system is an important component of the transportation system of traffic in our country. As the traditional transport enterprise, the railway freight to develop modern logistics is essential to the development of the logistics system in our country. The thesis set about from the trend of logistics and the current situation of the development of railway freight industry , and analyze its advantage, inferior position, opportunity and threaten. On the basis of successful experience of railway logistics in developed countries, this thesis have put forward the thinking direction, countermeasure and development strategy of the railway freight expanding to the modern logistics inour country.The thesis is aiming at the primary problem existing in the railway freight and containerized transport in our country. Through the analysis of current situation of logistics and containerized transport in China, taking the railway freight in Xi'an as an example, the thesis gives a further systematic research on how to develop modern logistics and the railway containerized transport.In the case of investigating social and economic overview of pivot area of railway in Xi'an, the thesis have analyzed the current situation of Xi'an railway freight and the existing problem in detail, and summarized the countermeasure of railway freight development in Xi'an: it is the key point of solving existing problem of the railway freight in Xi'an present to build the container central station of the railway on the newly-built freight line in which passenger trains and freight trains are separated.Having analyzed such questions as bad time reaction, the dispersing website and small scale, the thesis expatiates the important sense of building the railway container central station in Xi'an to promote the economic and trade development of the western region, realize the reasonable distribution of transport resources, perfect the containerized transport service function of the railway, and improve the competition of railway transportation market. On the basis of analyzing the total layout of city of Xi'an, the thesis gives detailed site selection analysis to the railway container central station in Xi'an by Analytic Hierarchy Process.
