"Modulation Domain"is a plane domain which is consisted of frequency and time signal axes. "Modulation Domain And Pulse Analyzer"(MDPA) may be used to analyze the evolution of signal features such as frequency, time interval and phase along the time, especially the transient characteristics of the signal. The characteriestics of the signal can be described easily in modulation domain, which are hard to describe in either time domain or frequency domain. It is applied in a wide range such as digital communication systems, radar and electronic warfare systems, mechanical electronic systems, etc. The work of this dissertation comes from the project Modulation Domain And Pulse Analyzer, which is taken on by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. This dissertation focuses on the subject of the MDPA's trigger module and its WDM driver software. Firstly, the concepts and measuring theories of MDPA is introduced, the system plan and technical target is also discussed. Secondly, based on the introduction of all kinds of trigger and measurement mode, the trigger module's hardware design plan and the principle of high-speed digital circuit PCB board are described. At last, the WDM driver model and the develop procedure of this trigger module's driver software both are introduced detailedly.
