Magnetic Suspension and Balance System (MSBS) for wind tunnels is being developed in order to solve the principal problems of aerodynamics which cannot be solved by conventional means: measurement of aerodynamic loads acting on the models without the effects of mechanical supporting devices. Because it eliminates the mechanical supporting interference, the parameters of aerodynamics measured by MSBS have high reliability. It is also easy to adjust the model posture. At the same time, it extents the areas of wind tunnel test and obtains good results of experiments on high-angle-of-attack, super-speed-of-sound and transient process which interfered much by the supporting trestle.During the Eighth and Ninth Five-Year plan, the two sets of MSBS in maglev laboratory of NUDT are designed by analog controller. But, as viewed from international research, digital control of suspension system is mainstream. At the same time, The develop of DSP chips is fast, the functions of DSP chips are more and more stronger, the capability-to-price ratio goes up straightly and the developing means are improved. DSP chips are used abroad in communication and electron system, signal processing system, control, radar, military, spaceflight and aviation, medical, family electric appliance, electric power system etc and new areas continuously come out .Because the digital control has many merits and DSP chips are used successfully, the digital controller is being developed in the 30cm X 30cm MSBS during the Tenth Five-Year plan.In this thesis ,by means of TMS320F240 chip which produced by American Texas instruments corporation, the basic concept and principle of MSBS are given according to the 30cm X 30cm MSBS which is finished by us .At the same time, the hardware and software of digital control of suspension system are introduced in detail. The designs for principle and control programs are given. |
