Support Network Manufacturing Capp System

Networked manufacturing is an advanced manufacturing paradigm. As a main software system in product manufacturing, CAPP should be developed in order to adapt to the challenge of the Networked manufacturing. The study of CAPP system for Networked Manufacturing is one of the development directions of the CAPP. Under the support of an 863 project, the key technology of the CAPP system for Networked Manufacturing and its framework are introduced in this paper. Main points of the paper include:1. The new characters of the CAPP system under the mode of the Networked Manufacturing are introduced and the function and the framework of the CAPP system for Networked Manufacturing are given in details.2. The method of the part information modeling and the method of the dynamic manufacturing resources information modeling are studied. After referring to current part information modeling methods and current manufacturing resources information modeling methods and taking the actual situation of the project into account, a practical part information modeling method and a practical manufacturing resources information modeling method are presented.3. Introduce the process of Networked Process Route Planning. The research on knowledge-based part logical manufacturing process design, connection between logical manufacturing unit and physical manufacturing unit explain, executive manufacturing process design and process route optimization was done.4. According to criterion of J2EE and requirement of practical work of process planning, this paper accomplished the designing work of Networked Process Route Planning system based J2EE.5. Aiming at the applications in Internet, the information integration based on XML technology, between CAPP and other systems in enterprises, is studied in this paper.
