| The performance demands of test system in weapon testing domain are much higher than other those who used in industry and for civil. With its many advantages such as large throughput, high-speed data transmission, highly reliability, good electromagnetic compatibility and anti-interference ability, easily flexible structure, and so on, VXIbus provides the best platform for Virtual Instruments (VI) after its appearance. So putting this newly high technology in weapon test domain and establishing a weapon parameter test system with small size, good performance, and high reliability are the development direction of weapon test.Combined with the demand of a certain parameter test task in conventional weapon system's approved test, this article introduces the development and application of the Shell Fragments Velocity Test System (SFVTS) based-on advanced VXIbus and VI technology. The parameter of shell fragments velocity is important in shell body explosion research. So, how to measure the shell fragment's velocity accurately is always the target for the weapon research cliques who both at home and abroad. This paper analyses the measure principle and method of shell fragments velocity test in technology, summarizes the principle and development of the former test equipment, improves the circuit design for fore-end signal transformation, increases the capacity of anti-interference for test signal. This system includes a set of multi-channel high-speed data acquisition equipment based-on VXIbus, multi-channel receiving target for shell fragments and software for data acquisition and processing. For the data processing work has been taken by the high performance computer, the test result of shell fragments velocity can be obtained in real time, the test data, waveform can be transferred to MS WORD document through ActiveX technology and generated test report automatically, thus, the working strength of operators is lighten much.In addition, this article has also made some research and exploration work in other test with the VI mentioned in the paper. |
